Preparing Your Child Emotionally For School

4.     Be open to adjustments – Don’t expect your plans to always go as expected. With kids, expect the unexpected. A little flexibility will go a long way. Observe your child with the new routine, ask how he feels and if he needs any change in his new routine. Small adjustments in the routine can ease things a lot.
